Haiti - Petit-Goâve : Act of vandalism at EFACAP

On Tuesday, unidentified individuals punctured the tires of Milien William's vehicle, the Director of the Fundamental School of Application and Pedagogical Support Center (EFACAP) of Petit-Goâve, on the courtyard of the institution.

Furious, the students of the third cycle as a sign of protest closed the doors of EFACAP, claiming to be victims of the strike movement started on 5 October 2017 by the teachers of the 3rd cycle, who claim the payment of their salary arrears... Today, the crisis has reached its peak and the 3 cycles of EFACAP of Petit-Goâve no longer work.

Tuesday parents joined the protests of the students and made threats against Director William on the school yard...

On the same day Yvener Desrosiers, Director of the EFA and Milien William the Director of EFACAP, presented themselves at the Petit-Goâve Public Prosecutor's Office to respond to the invitation of the new Substitute Pierre Eliott Paul on the crisis in their establishment.

In addition, the Director Desrosiers must present himself again next Monday at the Public Prosecutor's Office to respond to the invitation of Professor Andès Duval who took the opportunity to solicit in a letter addressed to the Ministry of National Education, his transfer to another High School from the Palmes region.
