Haiti - Elections : Corrections of the electoral lists

Ronald Covil, the Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) announced yesterday that his institution in collaboration with the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) began the work of correction of the electoral lists who had severe problems [The impossibility for many voters to find their names on the lists displayed in front of the polling stations (BV) during the election].
The Director General of ONI explained to the people, that the persons whose names were not on the electoral lists before November 28 will not be able to participate in the second round planned by the CEP the 20 March 2011, even if they have withdraw their card after that date.
