Haiti - Football : COCHAFOP sanctions the FICA

In a circular addressed to the head of the "Football Inter Club Association" (FCIA), Variéno St-Fleur, President of the "Organizing Committee of the Haitian Championship of Professional Football" (COCHAFOP), condemns "[...] the repeated violence in your home matches and especially during the play-off match against Racing FC of Gonaïves on Thursday, November 30th at Résigné Park in Milot, when in addition to acts of violence against members visiting team, Racing FC's transport vehicle was attacked and damaged.

While waiting for the Disciplinary Committee to decide by definitive and firm disciplinary provisions after thorough study, investigation and processing of the file; the following transitional provisions have been adopted and come into effect immediately in accordance with the provisions of sections 5.0, 6.06, 6.11 of the Competition Rules :

1) FICA will play its next home games on neutral ground within a radius of at least 60 kilometers from the city of Cap and no fan or fan of the club, beyond a delegation of 30 people, is authorized to attend these so-called matches.
