Haiti - France : Jovenel Moses visited OIEau 13/12/2017 07:51:38 This visit was an opportunity for the Head of State to underline the political will of his administration to join an active partnership and set up a network of exchanges of international cooperation, to develop the organization and the capacity of water management in Haiti and to implement measures for the protection of this natural resource, also President Moïse wished to promote a technical partnership and a reciprocal collaboration in order to make full use of all available expertise. Mr. Eric Tardieu, Director General of OIEau, made the history of the 10 years of support of the association in Haiti which is translated in particular by the management of watersheds in the city of Saint Marc, the establishment of the school of water and sanitation trade, the audit of the water and sanitation observatory... Also the Director of the International Office for Water of Paris awarded the OIEau medal o President Jovenel Moïse, and at the same time invited the Minister of Trade and Industry to sign the Paris Pact. "I thank Mr. Eric Tardieu, Director of OIEau Paris for the quality of his presentation on the various projects led by France in Haiti in the field of water management. I will proudly wear the medal of OIEau that he has awarded me." The International Office for Water (OIEau) is an association of French law non-profit declared of public utility by Decree of 13 September 1991.
