Haiti - Politic : The Government intensifies the mobilization against insecurity

As announced, the Government is stepping up the mobilization against insecurity in order to guarantee to the citizens a climate of peace and security in the country during the end of year holidays.

As part of the implementation of the security plan for the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area, Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr, the Secretary of State for Public Security accompanied by the Head of the Commissariat of Port-au-Prince and those of the Specialized Units of the PNH launched Wednesday morning operations in downtown Port-au-Prince and its surroundings.

The police have reaffirmed their determination to fight against banditry in all its forms.

The mobilization being already effective in Pétion-ville since Monday, December 11, will extend on the police stations of the communes of Delmas and Carrefour in the coming days.
