The Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) based in Geneva (Switzerland), a leading global company in the provision of inspection and international certification services granted the international "Hospitality Excellence Program" certification with a rating of 99,8% compliance, to Decameron Hotels & Resorts, a world first for a hotel chain in America.

"We are pleased to receive the Hospitality Excellence Program certification, which confirms our commitment to ensuring the highest quality of food and safety for guests during their stay in our hotels and our employees during their working day. [...] this program is based on the most stringent standards of the tourism sector. This certificate is granted to our hotel chain when approving audits assessing the management of our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) program, which includes aspects of structural and food safety, water cycle management and emergency procedures [...]
