330 people killed by bullets

Officials of the National Episcopal Commission Justice and Peace (CE-JILAP) claim to have recorded 418 deaths, including 330 by bullets during the year 2017 in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area alone. Among the victims are 15 police officers.

Friday at the National Police School, Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and his staff, celebrated Christmas with the widows and children of the deceased police officers. Closing of the festivities of the 90th of the LNH
