Weather : 6 dead and 12 wounded
The Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) and the Permanent Secretariat for Risk Management held a new working meeting on the response to bad weather that hit the country in recent days. The human toll is 6 dead and 12 injured at the moment.

2,000 tons of Haitian rice bought by WFP
2,000 tons or the equivalent of 285 trucks, this is the quantity of local rice bought in Haiti by the World Food Program (WFP) in 2017 with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Haiti for the various ongoing programs on the national territory (school canteen, food aid, community restaurants etc...)
