Gamall Augustin, the Director General of the National Television of Haiti (TNH) has named the comedian Yves Joseph Manfred Marcelin as new head of cultural directorate of the state television. He will now take care of the cultural and educational affairs of the TNH and will liaise with the artists.

This choice of the General Management, aims to strengthen the production of TNH in cultural and educational matters in relation to its mission. In particular, it will be for the news Sectorial Director, to use his know-how and his knowledge of the artistic milieu, alongside the Director General to offer educational and cultural programs, according to the needs of the public. He will also strive to offer artists of all horizons the opportunity to perform and represent themselves on the platforms of the TNH, to promote Haitian culture.

Yves Joseph Manfred Marcelin est un artiste pluridisciplinaire : comédien, homme de théâtre, acteur de cinéma et de publicité depuis de longues années. Le public et le monde artistique le connaissent pour ses participations dans des publicités, ses performances au théâtre et ses rôles dans plusieurs films, notamment "Le Président a-t-il le Sida ?", "Millionnaire par erreur", "Protège-moi", "Cicatrices 1 and 2", "Les gens de bien", "Le Cap à la une" and "Les amours d'un zombi". He was honored at the 5th Edition of "'Haiti Movie Awards" in Boston (United States), in November 2015.
