This Sunday, a serious accident occurred near Fonds Verrettes (West), when a transit bus registered TM-11552, connecting Port-au-Prince and Belle-Anse, Southeast Department, overturned, for an indeterminate reason.

The record is heavy, a mother in her 30s died and 29 passengers were injured. According to the latest information from the Directorate of Civil Protection there would be several young children among the victims.

Two ambulances were deployed : the National Ambulance Center (CAN) and the Haitian Red Cross (CRH), but the Red Cross volunteers were already there for first aid.

The wounded were transported to the Saint Claire Health Center.
