14 people were arrested during this operation during which the authorities also seized a vehicle and closed the site.

Commissioner Daméus took the opportunity to invite all victims of land-based conflict to seek help and protection from the police and justice, stressing that he will  rage indiscriminately against all persons, judges, lawyers, police officers and others who would perform illegal judgments.

Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr pointed out that this problem of spoliations was general in the country, but in particular to Vivy Mitchell, Croix-des-Bouquets and Thomassain where the cases were frequent and repetitive.
