Meniol Young, the Director General of the Ministry of Education took stock with the State Examinations Commission and officials of the Departmental Directorate of West Education (DDE-O) on the issue of 104 schools in the West who still have not filed their end-of-year decision list after more than 7 months (initially handing between July 16 and August 18, 2017) and who had received a final grace period completing the end of January 2018.

The first results of the survey carried out by the DDE-O, concerning the situation of these schools, reveal several of these schools operating outside the norms or existing only by name.

Several measures are envisaged by the Directorate General of the Ministry to sanction the schools concerned and adopt new provisions to strengthen the school inspection in the field.
