Customs agents nnounce a truce

Tuesday, Michelson Nelson Spokesperson of the Association of Customs Officers of Haiti (ADH) announced a truce of the strike that has paralyzed all activities in the customs of the country since Monday, March 5 last https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23791-haiti-politic-8th-day-of-strike-customs-agents-set-up-emergency-cells.html and the return to work. Two girls die burnt

On Monday evening, two 2-year-old girls died in the fire of their house in Ouanaminthe. The origin of the incident remains unknown. The grandmother of the two small victims reported that 2 other children were also in the house but had time to escape.

Brazil : 17 million for 3 Vocational Centers

On Monday, Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education held a meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil in Haiti, Fernando Vidal around the project to build 3 Technical and Vocational Training Center in the departments of Artibonite ( St-Marc), South (Cayes) and North-East (Fort-Liberté). At the end of this meeting the two men decided to speed up the implementation of this project financed by Brazil to the tune of $ 17 million.

Inter-Lycée Chant Contest of the Caribbean

Merlanka Silencieux of Collège de Côte plage and Péguy Roberto Carlos of the Canado-haïtien will represent Haiti at the Inter-Lycée Chant Contest of the Caribbean, in Guyana from March 15 to 19, 2018 and Guadeloupe from April 4 to April 8, 2018 at the "concours de chants inter scolaire Podium Ecoliers".It should be noted that Merlanka Silencieux and Péguy Roberto Carlos respectively came out as champion and vice-champion at the "concours de chants inter scolaire Podium Ecoliers", in in June 2017. Women Agricultural Fair
