Two decapitated men

Tuesday, 8 individuals including Houngan Noël Phénold were arrested by the police of Les Cayes. They are accused of beheading the weekend, two young men, Lorabin Gilot and Dorzil Michelet in Lacorriere, a locality of the commune of Torbeck.

Reminder : Transactions on US accounts

The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) reminds banks and other financial institutions in Haiti that "transactions on foreign currency accounts remain and will remain unchanged and the remunerations of deposits and withdrawals of funds are made in the currency of the account, according to the management of these accounts."

The Ministry of the Environment changes its address

This Thursday, March 15, 2018, the Ministry of the Environment changes its address. As of today, the Ministry is moving to the SONAPI industrial park, in the former premises of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Rehabilitation of housing in Martissant

As part of the Program for integrated development of informal neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince (AIQIP), several housing units are undergoing rehabilitation in Martissant, specifically in the neighborhoods of Dantès and Deluy. It should be remembered that this program is funded by the European Union and the Agence France de Développement (AFD). Several activities are planned, among others, the rehabilitation of Avenue N, the construction of playgrounds and relaxations, street paving.
