Haiti - Football : Our Grenadières Seniors, U20 and U17, very busy in the coming months 25/03/2018 10:12:09 This competition is organized to help the Caribbean senior women's selections who have not played since the 2015 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, to be more in form and to reconnect with the competition before the qualifiers of the World Cup France 2019 whose first round will take place from May 5th to 13th for the Caribbean. This tournament will bring together 20 teams from the area in a quadrangular series. Haiti will host one of these groups from 18 to 22 April at the Sylvio Cator Stadium with the women's national teams from Martinique, the Dominican Republic and the Virgin Islands with matches on 18, 20 and 22 April. This tournament is welcome especially for our National Selection whose last international exit dates back to September 2015 in friendly against the USA. Although still young, our Grenadières Seniors are for the most part not in competition and probably exceeded in capacity by the young graduates of which 4 already evolve like professionals in France : Soveline Beaubrun, Jennifer Limage, Batcheba Louis, Nérilia Mondésir. Our National Selection will have to be rebuilt with a base composed of 20-year-old players trained at Camp Nou, but it will take time for them to pass on to the senior level their proven dispositions and performances in young categories. In addition, our National Selection will not be able to rely on their former Polish coach Shek Borkowsky, now coach of Puerto Rico. Moreover, in the coming months, Haitian women's football will not be idle, despite the financial constraints to respond to this voluminous program and have an effective in number and quality to manage these appointments. After the tournament in mid-April and the first round of the Women's World Championship 2019 in May, our girls will have an appointment with the Central American Games in Colombia in July. For the U-20, the four nations tournament (Haiti, Germany, France and USA) in Marseille from June 2 to 11 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23827-haiti-preparation-france-2018-our-grenadieres-u-20-invited-to-participate-in-a-major-tournament.html The pre-World U-17 in Managua from 19 to 29 April https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23499-haiti-u-17-world-cup-uruguay-2018-3rd-qualifying-phase-for-our-grenadieres.html où beaucoup de potentielles internationales sont engagées durant cette période et ne pourront pas participer.
