During the Easter weekend, from March 30th to April 1st, 2018, in the commune of Prestel (Grand'Anse Dept.), the 31st edition of the Pestel Sea Festival was held, which once again hosted thousands of national tourists and nearly a hundred foreigners.

Hikes were also organized to the various tourist sites of the city and neighboring communal sections in addition to the Rara parades, contests of troubadour, not to mention the music festival led by groups and artists, such as Werner Bellegarde, Guy Amost Marcelin, Diferan, Kanpech, Mass Vokal, Kreyol la.

This Festival, one of the oldest in the Caribbean (1st Edition in 1987) was an opportunity to revisit the tourism potential of the commune to put in perspective new modes of operation and new strategies to make this commune, a new destination for both local and international tourism (33 beaches, Anse Blanche, Coconut palms, Mosquito, the Lambi... the Bellony cave, the "Reflechi" fort and breathtaking hiking trails...)
