In order to strengthen the territorial communities and accelerate the development process of the country and after distributing 571 new motorcycles to the Presidents of the Boards of Communal Sections (CASEC) of all 571 communal sections of the country, President Jovenel Moïse handed a batch of 10 vehicles to the representatives of departmental associations of mayors of the country.

According to the presidency, this initiative aims to encourage community action to provide more services to the most remote populations in the country.

Each Mayor will benefit from a vehicle declared Moïse, who called on local officials to be patient, while urging them to ensure sound management of the state's resources at their disposal, to better serve the population and reduce pressure on the big cities.

The President also took advantage of this meeting with the representatives of the Mayors Associations of the various departments, to renew his determination to work for a real decentralization of Haiti.
