Tuesday, Stéphanie Auguste the Minister of Social Affairs, proceeded to the installation of Guy André Junior François aka "T-Guy" the new Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, who served as Vice-Consul and in charge of Mission to the Consulate of Haiti in Miami. He replaces at this position the Minister Auguste who assumed this function ad interim until now.

In her remarks, Minister Auguste first presented a summary of her 13 months passed at the head of this Ministry, before informing her successor about the actions and files in progress, in a perspective of continuity. She took the opportunity to provide some advice and promise her support if needed.

In a brief intervention, the new Minister of Haitians Living Abroad after the thanks of the President and the Prime Minister for his appointment as Minister, especially emphasized his openness and commitment to work with compatriots of the Diaspora, Ministry executives and staff to help change the image of Haiti outside the country.
