The Haitian delegation headed by Aviol Fleurant the Minister of Planning, accompanied by Jude Alix Patrick Salomon, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank, Jean Baden Dubois, composed of senior economists and experts in public finance, emphasized the importance of disbursements of budget support before the end of the fiscal year in order to continue, investment in infrastructure and productive sectors of the economy, to implement social programs, while preserving macroeconomic stability. It should be noted that the Haitian authorities in Washington have agreed with the major donors for budget support totaling ± 96 million US dollars (± 6.2 billion gourdes) before the end of the fiscal year 2017-2018 : 30 million from IDB, 30 million from the World Bank and 30 million from the European Union.
