Recall that in addition to dam construction, a reservoir with a capacity of 10 million cubic meters, as well as a solar powered pumping station will be installed to facilitate watering operations and ensure the availability of water for the farmers by allowing the irrigation of the vast cultivable plains in Grand Bassin, Acul Samedi, Savane Carré, Malféti etc... In addition, provision is also made to facilitate access to drinking water for the entire population of the region from the completion of this dam. Treatment centers will be installed through the National Directorate for Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA).
