Football : Finals of the Flag Cup

Thursday afternoon in Arcahaia, was held the Final of the Flag Cup, a local football tournament supported by the Ministry of the Interior. The finalists teams from Saintard and Downtown faced on the lawn of the Parc du Drapeau, in the presence of Fednel Monchery, the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior, the municipal authorities, various guests and personalities from the surrounding areas and of a sporting public who made the trip. A final won by the downtown team after a penalty shoot-out [3-1] under the ovations of young archelois.

World Day Against Homophobia

On the occasion of the World Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (17 May), the French Embassy in Haiti recalls that equality in dignity and rights must be respected for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
