Haiti - FLASH : A Hougan to Déchan (Grand-Goâve) makes 4 victims
On the night from Monday to Tuesday, May 22 in the locality of Déchan, first communal section of Grand-Goâve, a hougan known as Génet André aka "Lifèt" shot dead two of the three young boys from Léogâne came to consult him, before hurting a Pastor and fleeing, kidnapping with force at the same time a 3rd boy.
According to resident testimony, Génet André allegedly shot and killed two young boys who had previously consulted him. The third young man, panicked, took refuge with a pastor in the area called Frantz. The armed and furious hougan entered the Pasteur's house, wounding him with gunshot and forcibly dragged the third boy before fleeing with his victim, whom no trace was found and is now reported as missing.
The police and the Justice of the Peace confirmed the identity of one of the 2 young boys shot, it is Jean Bernard St Hilaire, aged 17 years.
