Haiti - Health : Medical mission of the diaspora in Haiti
Thursday, a delegation of about twenty people from the diaspora including the Commissioner of Miramar, Mrs. Darline B. Riggs, members of the Oasis Church, representatives of the "Haitian American Nurses Association-Florida" (HANA-Florida ), who came for a medical tour in Haiti, was welcomed by Guy André Junior François, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) at the Ministry's kiosk at Toussaint Louverture International Airport.
Minister François, welcomed the arrival of the delegation and thanked HANA members for their support to the country's nursing schools for 34 years before reiterating the commitment of the Moïse-Lafontant administration to encourage the initiatives of the diaspora to contribute to the development of the country.
For four days (from 24 to 28 May 2018), the members of the delegation will visit two orphanages and organize medical missions in Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.
