On the Autopista del Sol, towards San Antonio, shortly before reaching the Melipilla tollbooth (southeast of the capital, Chile) a van carrying 14 agricultural workers (men and women) was victim of a pileup at night, involving a total of 3 vehicles.

10 Haitian workers (migrants) were injured in this accident to varying degrees and rushed to Melipilla San Jose Hospital by the ambulances of UMS of Melipilla and Talagante.

The police are investigating the causes of the accident, which has injured about 20 people.
