The book signed by Senator Youri Latortue "PetroCaribe : my fight for accountability" (PetroCaribe : mon combat pour la reddition de comptes), became the best-selling book at Livres en Folie 2018.

"I wanted that my book to be used as a plea to force better public governance. Not a moment, I did not expect it to become a bestseller. [...] This position consolidates me in confirming the interest for the accountability of accounts managed by the State apparatus [...]

This new attitude is the result of collaborative collaborative actions, for which I have great appreciation. I must, however, pay tribute to all those in the daily, far from the cameras and microphones, continue to insist on more transparency in the management of public funds, especially in the treatment of urgent disbursements. In my opinion, they are the real "heroes" of this cause and in my heart, I share this honor with them too," said Senator Youri Latortue
