Invited by the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, the President of Haiti Jovenel Moïse will participate at the G7 summit which will be held under very high security, at the hotel "Le Manoir Richelieu" in La Malbaie in Charlevoix (Quebec) on the 8th and June 9th.

Note that Haiti is not the only country to have been invited to this important Summit. 11 other countries were privileged to be invited by the G7: Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Kenya, Marshall Islands, Norway, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, South Africa and Vietnam.

During this G7, these 12 invited Heads of State will participate on June 9 in a special session on "Oceans Health and the Resilience of Coastal Communities", in the presence of the Presidents of the 7 major world powers (United States, Japan, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Canada).

As part of the participation of Moïse at the G7 Summit, the Embassy of Haiti in Canada, in partnership with the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal invites the Haitian community to an important meeting with Jovenel Moïse, Friday, June 8 from 7pm to 10 pm at the premises of the Haitian Cultural Association la Perle Retrouvée, located at 7655, 20th Ave. Montreal, QC, H2A 2K8.
