In the night from Wednesday to Thursday at the civil prison of Croix-des-Bouquets (West Dept) 3 prisoners escaped by sawing the bars of their cell. They are Daniel Bélan, Rodrigue Georges and Jocelyn Doccice, all three incarcerated for theft. A 4th prisoner sentenced to life, who was in the same cell, was captured by prison agents onfirmed the Commissioner of the Government of the Croix-des-Bouquet,s Me Yvon Jean Noël.

According to unconfirmed reports, one of the escapees was one of the gang leaders who operated at the commune of Delmas. According to the detainee's confession, this escape was long and carefully prepared.

For the moment, the three prisoners on the run, including a recidivist of the escape, are actively sought by the National Police of Haiti (PNH) which states that these individuals did not steal any weapon at the Penitentiary Center before disappearing in nature...
