Haiti - Technology : 190 Giga of Internet connection for the incubator Alpha Haiti
Jean-David Rodney, Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) informs us that by express delegation of the Presidency the Ciné Triomphe complex has been equipped with high speed internet access, of over 190 giga connection, mobilizing three market operators allowing the incubator Alpha Haiti to have all the necessary Internet capabilities.

In addition, CONATEL confirms that a Wi-Fi dome will be installed on the Champs de Mars in order to honor the promise of the Head of State, which will provide the Champs de Mars area with free Wi-Fi coverage.

In addition to these facilities, the other public places in the country will be equipped with Wi-Fi access and of Wifi points of Inclusion to the Digital Economy (Bornes d’Inclusion à l’Économie Numérique - BIEN) technological facilities, will be built across all communes of the territory.

These terminals will be used for the appropriation of information and communication technologies (ICT) by all segments of the population, especially youth, thus synergizing the incubation centers that will be deployed later by the Government in all departments of the country and the structures of BIEN, for a full integration of the country into the Information Society in the process of becoming.
