Haiti - Economy : Tax revenues up since 4 years 16/06/2018 07:48:44
As part of the 94th anniversary of the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) Miradin Morlan, the Director General at the head of this institution since October 2014, presented a positive assessment of the last 4 fiscal years "When we arrived at the head of the DGI in October 2014, revenue for the 2013-2014 financial year was of the order of 21.8 billion gourdes. We have worked hard to increase revenues to 24.7 billion in the 2014-15 fiscal year. For the 2015-2016 fiscal year, revenues continued their upward trend to reach 28.1 billion, and finally, for 2016-2017, the revenue level reached 36.4 billion", highlighting an average increase in revenue from 28% in the last four fiscal years.
