Inauguration of the Dumarais Estimé Market

Yanick Agénor Auguste, Deputy Mayor of Port-de-Paix, inaugurated the Dumarais Estimé Market. In the presence of the Mayor's General Director Carlin Michel, Senator Kedlaire Augustin and local merchants, Departmental Delegate Owell Theock handed the market keys to the Deputy Mayor, on behalf of President Jovenel Moïse.

Naji Naman Prize for the poet Elie Fleurant

The Haitian poet-philosopher Élie Fleurant from Cap-Haitien has just won the Naji Naman International Literary Prize (Paris 2018) for his collection of poems and philosophy "Épîtres du Centaure" published by L'Harmattan. Élie Fleurant is the recipient of several literary prize, including: UNICEF Literary Prize, Paris 2014, CEPAL Aimé Césaire Prize 2015 and International Prize for Literature Naji Naman, Paris 2018.

Coronation of Miss

Miss Universe Haiti 2018 and Miss International Haiti 2018 will be crowned on Thursday, July 5, 2018 during the grand finale which will take place at the Marriott Hotel at 8:00 pm. Admission is 1,500 gourdes.
