The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs the general public that information circulating on social networks and some online media, which suggests that the rise in the price of gasoline at the pump, canceled by the Haitian government, would be paid back to its subscribers through the next bills, is totally false.

The General Directorate of the EDH while deploring these acts, which encourage skidding and destabilization, continues to keep in touch with the population through its website, its social networks accounts and its official telephone numbers: + (509) 2813-0517 / + (509) 2813-0179 : + (509) 2212-2212.

The EDH calls for calm and understanding of the entire population, that it urges to be wary of false news dessiminated on Internet.
