Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the resigning Minister of Education, announced that everything was ready for the start of the academic year 2018-2019, which will take place officially on September 3, 2018.

According to the school calendar, this new school year includes 192 school days (960 hours for fundamental and 1,152 hours for secondary) and 12 days of official holidays.

Dates of the official exams academic year 2018-2019 :

Permanent baccalaureate: 17 to 20 December 2018;

Regular baccalaureate: 24 to 26 June 2019;

Official exams of 9th fundamental year (A. F.): 10 to 12 June 2019;

Examinations of the Normal School of Teachers (ENI): June 10th to 14th, 2019;

Examinations of the Center for Family Education: 10 to 14 June 2019;

Training Technical and Vocational exams: July 30 to August 3, 2019.
