Haiti - Social : At least 9 dead and 24 injured in an accident
An accident occurred this morning on the road of Les Cayes, in the commune of Bergeau, front of a building where the ASE (Electoral Security Agents) were in training.

According to current information, some candidates that have not been selected to be ASE have erected barricades on the road, a bus is arrived, has tried to avoid them, then collided with a truck before overturning. Causing at least 9 dead and 24 wounded.

Renel Jean, Technical Coordinator of the Departmental Direction of Civil Protection reported that five of the injured have sustained very serious injuries, and that their lives are in danger.

For his part, Fritz Saint-Fort, of the police of Les Cayes reports that 10 injured are in a serious condition.

The Haitian Red Cross transported the injured in an hospital in Les Cayes.

The police arrested three people involved in this act of protest.
