According to a report from the Haitian organization Stop-accidents, which fights against traffic accidents throughout the national territory, the balance realized in partnership with the National Ambulance Center (CAN) and the Haitian Red Cross, between June 29 and on August 5, 2018 (37 days), no less than 151 accidents were reported on the roads in Haiti.

The majority of accidents occurred on unsecured and unsafe national roads. Arcahaie, Léogâne, Miragoâne, Montrouis, Titanyen, Quartier-Morin, Gonaïves, Grand-Goâve, Thomonde, Morne à cabrit, Aquin, Marmelade, Delmas 32, Carrefour, Croix-des-Bouquets, Canaan and the Malpasse.

The total balance is 333 victims including 61 dead and 272 wounded.

June 29 to July 1:

21 accidents: 74 victims (16 dead and 58 wounded);

July 2 to 8:

9 accidents: 13 wounded;

July 9th and 15th:

26 accidents: 39 victims (4 dead and 35 wounded);

16 to 22 July:

30 accidents: 57 victims (5 dead and 52 wounded);

July 23 to 29:

29 accidents: 62 victims (15 dead and 47 wounded;

July 30 to August 5, 2018: < B>

36 accidents: 88 victims (21 dead and 67 wounded).
