The Primature informs that, less than 72 hours after the request made by the Presidents of the two branches of the Parliament, the Prime Minister named Jean Henry Céant, accompanied by the members of his team, deposited his documents to the Secretariat of the two Chambers of the Parliament, as prescribed by the Constitution.

"With regard to its constitutional prerogatives, the Senate of the Republic has received in deposit the documents of the appointed Prime Minister, citizen Jean Henry Céant. A Commission will be formed at the earliest to exhaust this phase of the procedure," declared Senator Lambert, Speaker of the Upper House.
