Friday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Maguy Durcé Director of the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP) and Koldo Echebbaria Representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Haiti, in the presence of the Deputy of the constituency of Hinche, Fred Piton, of the Mayor of the commune Jonel Jn Baptiste, of Deputy Delegate Emmanuel Frantz Piton and several local authorities and personalities of the civil society, inaugurated the Hinche Vocational and Technical Training Center (CFPTH), located in Marmont.

Built on a plot of 27,050 m2, including 6 pavilions, this modern vocational training center, with a futuristic architecture whose construction cost, financed by the IDB, is estimated at about 5 million US dollars, was realized by a local firm. With a capacity of 3,000 learners, the Center offers programs in 7 sectors : water exploitation and treatment, civil construction, information and communication technology, clay works, agricultural products processing and general mechanics, divided into 35 trades.

"The construction of the Vocational Training Center, a tool for building the future in the heart of the Central Plateau, will enable young people to free themselves from the fear of unemployment" declared Maguy Durcé, Director General of the INFP.

"The materialization of the Hinche Vocational and Technical Training Center is a modern vision for the development of technical and vocational education," stressed Koldo Echebbaria, IDB Representative.
