Haiti - Social : Closure of the summer camp of Port-au-Prince 2018
The 2018 Summer Camp organized by the Port-au-Prince Town Hall and the Association of Elected Women of Port-au-Prince (AFEPAP) officially ended on August 31 at the Vincent Gymnasium.

This summer camp, which began on July 16, brought together 720 children, aged between 6 and 18, from neighborhoods such as; Solino, Canapé-vert, Carrefour-Feuilles, Fontamara, 4th Avenue Bolosse and Martissant. This camp, which according to its organizers was an area of ​​great conviviality, relaxation and education, allowed participants to benefit from learning modules in floral art, martial arts, basketball, football, cooking, painting, mathematics and writing among others.

In her speech, Kettyna Bellabe, Deputy Mayor of Port-au-Prince, also President of AFEPAP on behalf of Mayor Ralph Youri Chevry and AFEPAP, welcomed the instructors who volunteered for more than a month to the safety of children, to their supervision by establishing principles of respect, discipline and creating a harmonious atmosphere within groups as part of their learning.

This 2018 summer camp in Port-au-Prince ended with a great show gathering all the participants who were able to exhibit their works such as shoes, artificial flowers made with silk papers, bracelets, necklaces and others. handcrafted jewelry. The different groups of neighborhoods have performed dances of different tendencies for the enjoyment of the public.
