Haiti - Elections : Young executives and University Groups are supporting Martelly

Tuesday, March 15, 2011, the league of the "Jeunes Cadres Haïtiens (LIJECH)", an association established in the United States and Haiti has made ​​a public rally, attended by several thousand people on the football field of Thomassin 25 in support to the candidate Martelly.

The economist François Guillaume, a leader of LIJECH, also Executive Director of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida insisted on the fact that many young professionals from abroad and living in the country have agreed to embrace the cause of the candidate martelly, who, according to him "has in this particular context the necessary assets to make this change that the Haitian people asks."

Wednesday, March 16, 2011 the "Kolektif Bouch Tout Moun Fann" together with the "Groupe Universitaire/ Etudiants pro-Martelly", a platform, grouping several university organizations such "Jèn Lidè Haiti (JLH)", the "Fédération des Etudiants Universitaires Haïtiens (FEUH)", the "Centre de Réflexion Universitaire pour un Changement social (CRUCHS)" and the "Centre de Réflexion Nationale de la Jeunesse Haïtienne (CERNAJH)", gave a press conference to officially endorse the candidacy of Michel Martelly "Repons peyizan".

They believe that the speech of the candidate, in favor of social change and of the improvement of the living conditions of the most vulnerable of the Haitian society is wholly consistent with their ideology. These responsible of student organizations and social have launched an appeal to youth to take in hand their destiny and build a new society based on the values of solidarity and patriotism.
