Canadian Embassy Closed

The Canadian Embassy in Haiti will be closed to the public this Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from noon and Wednesday throughout the day due to the 212th anniversary of the death of Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines.

5 Haitian lawyers on internship in the USA

5 lawyers, Farah Cadet, Samuel Cadet, Abel Descollines, Jean Marie Junior Solomon and Siméon Valet left the country to the United States to participate in the "International Visitor Leadership Program" of the State Department on the American Judicial System, through this program, they will be able to review the functioning of the courts, explore case management, jury-assisted adjudication, and discuss extrajudicial dispute resolutions and judicial activism.
