The Mayor of Croix-des-Bouquets Rony Colin is convinced that school can contribute to the building of the society and is an open door for students to a better future. It is in this perspective that the municipal administration has built in Canaan, a modern municipal school to meet the needs of the population and provide students with a pleasant learning environment consistent with pedagogical principles.

This school infrastructure, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the American Red Cross, was built in accordance with paraseismic and paraseismic standards.

From now on, families in the Canaan area will no longer need to send their children elsewhere to benefit from the bread of education, since their community now has its own school infrastructure which has nothing to envy at the architectural level to some famous establishments of Haiti.

The Municipal Council asks the people of Canaan to protect and manage this school infrastructure.
