The World Food Program (PAP Haiti) with its partner the Association of Volunteers for International Service (AVSI) as a service provider, this week performs cash distributions and sensitization sessions on nutrition in the 13 communes of the department of Grande Anse, in the Southwest. Each of the 1,732 beneficiaries, mostly women, will receive an envelope of 3,000 gourdes, funded by the UN Organization CERF, for food assistance to improve the nutritional status of children under 5 years of acute malnutrition.
PNH North : New Departmental Director
On Monday, November 12th, Divisional Commissioner Jackson Hilaire was appointed Northern Departmental Director (DDN) of the National Police of Haiti (PNH). He replaces Jean Castro Prévil, who was transferred to the Cabinet of Michel-Ange Gédéon, Director General of the PNH.
All Grenadiers in Managua
Wilde Donald Guerrier, one of the stars of the Haitian football selection, arrived as planned Wednesday afternoon in Managua completing the list of 20 Grenadiers convened by Marc Collat for the next two matches against Nicaragua on November 17 in Managua in the League of Nations of Concacaf and friendly match against El Salvador on 20 in San Salvador. Despite the fatigue, about 24 hours after his departure from Azerbaijan, he was able to train with the whole team. See also :
