Friday in Croix-des-Bouquets, as part of the support of the Ministry of Agriculture to Haitian breeders to help protect the health of the swine breed, the Departmental Agricultural Directorate (DDA) of the West, officially launched a vaccination campaign against Plague Porcing Classic (PPC) and Teshen.

According to Dr. Joseph Chaim Corvil, Coordinator of the Animal Protection Unit at the Ministry level, a stock of 200,000 doses of vaccine is available for this campaign adding that the Ministry has a vaccination strategy that can reach the most pigs possible during this campaign, which will end on December 10th.

The agronomist Jean Elie Philogène, Director of the West DDA, present at this launch, invited the breeders to collaborate with the veterinary agents for the full success of this campaign.
