Haiti - FLASH : PM open to bring former Presidents into his cabinet

Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant who advocates dialogue and reconciliation between all political actors, is ready to go very far in terms of openness if we believe his response to a listener on a radio station of the Capital asking if he was ready to appoint in his cabinet as Minister, Mirlande Manigat or Jean-Bertrand Aristide...

"If they want to join me in the governance of the country, what's more beautiful to have Manigat or Aristide gathered in council to share their experiences. They are Haitians who have served their country [...] we must take advantage of their experiences if the opportunity arises. Whether it be Mirlande Manigat, Boniface Alexandre, Ertha Pascale Trouillot, Prosper Avril, Jean-Bertrand Aristide or Michel Martelly, the State must be able to count on their reflections on the political situation ."

Note that Céant caresses the project to create a Club of the former Presidents of Haiti "This is one of the things I want to introduce into the dialogue, a Club of Past Presidents that will facilitate the smooth functioning of the State" affirming to be in discussions on this subject with President Jovenel Moïse.
