Kenneth H. Merten met the Minister of Culture
Deputy Assistant Secretary Kenneth H. Merten met with Minister Labin of the Ministry of Culture and Communication of Haiti to strengthen the long-standing partnership between the United States and Haiti and discuss training and development opportunities and possible collaborations.
Meeting to improve hospital management

Agriculture : Discussion on the priorities of the agricultural sector in Haiti
As a prelude to his participation (3-7 December) in the 160th Session of the Council of the United Nations Food Fund (FAO) in Rome, the Minister of Agriculture met with the FAO Representative in Haiti, to discuss among other things, the priorities of the agricultural sector in Haiti, including the development of aquaculture.
