On the evening of 1 December in Tabarre, Commissioner Robert Plymouth (53) assigned to the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (IGPNH) was savagely axed by an unidentified individual.

The aggression occurred while Commissioner Plymouth had just closed the doors of the business he owned at Tabarre 52 and was preparing to return to his residence. He was axed as he climbed into his vehicle according to PNH Chief Inspector General Ralph Stanley Brice.

Rushed to hospital by residents, Commissioner Plymouth did not survive his injuries.

An investigation is opened to determine the causes of this assassination and to find the author of this barbarous crime.

Note that two other police offciers (agent IV) Jean Claude Joassaint and Henry Desamour assigned to the Brigade of Motorized Intervention (BIM) were wounded by bullets on November 22, 2018 while they were in Delmas 40 B.
