Haiti - Economy : Inauguration of the Micro-Park of services in Ouanaminthe 04/12/2018 09:50:00
Recall that in its desire to supervise the private sector and encourage the effective development of the country, the Government through the MCI, had signed in September 2015 a memorandum of understanding with the Compagnie de Développement Industriel S.A. In this protocol, it was agreed to build on the private domain of the State, located not far from the Industrial Park, a Micro Service Park, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for about 1.5 million dollars, able to receive the cooks to restore the workers of the free zone of Ouanaminthe as well as the population of Ounaminthe. The agreement also defines the conditions under which the Ministry entrusts the management of this Micro Park (State property) to CODEVI S.A. This Micro Parc will offer a space respectful of the hygiene standards to the population of the zone with a view to their restoration, on the one hand and on the other hand, a new framework of work to the merchants allowing them to reduce their operating costs by providing adequate infrastructure and equipment. In addition, this micro-park will have an economic influence on the area thanks to the contribution of small producers who will be the main suppliers of foodstuffs. HL/ HaitiLibre
