Haiti - Petit-Goâve : 19 people arrested in a Club

On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, December 5, police of Petit-Goâve arrested at a club in Petit-Goâve on the Belle Avenue, 19 people (13 young men from Miragoâne and 6 girls: 3 from Petit-Goâve and 3 from Miragoâne).

During this operation the police led by Commissioner Julbert Advisor, the police seized 4 vehicles, 13 phones, a machete, ammunition, a 9mm gun belonging to the Police officer Pierre Enock of the 25th promotion murdered in Miragoâne on March 3 2015 and the sum of 48,500 gourdes found in one of the vehicles.

Among the 13 men arrested was Dumay Loudy aka "Loulou", a highly sought after person in the Nippes department by the PNH. The 19 people arrested were all placed in police custody at the Petit-Goâve police station.

The police intervention follows a complaint by Léger Joceline, (from Les Cayes) a 23-year-old girl, mother of a 2-year-old child found on the road, who was the victim of an attempted rape in Viale , by the group of 13 young men aboard 4 cars came to celebrate the birthday of one of them in Petit-Goâve.

It is the judge of peace, Me Jude Léandre who prepared the legal statement.
