Haiti - Politic : Towards the relocation of the Central Office of the Ministry of Education

On Friday, Meniol Jeune, the Director General of the Ministry of National Education, brought together the members of the Commission responsible for moving the Central Office of the Ministry to inquire about the Commission's first initiatives concerning the moving operations and the planned schedule for the relocation of the various entities of the Ministry to the new premises of the institution, not far from Carrefour Fleuriot in Tabarre.

In order to hasten the work prior to these operations, the Director Jeune asked the commissioners to reflect on the best working method that could allow them to move quickly and to obtain from other concerned entities including the School Engineering Department, their involvement in the process.

Jeune highlighted the urgency for the Commission to work quickly so that all the directorates and units of the central office of the Ministry are brought together on the same site, in order to improve, among other things, the efficiency of the agents.

At this meeting, the commissioners issued some ideas about how they plan to carry out their mandate. They agreed to start everything up early next week and plan to visit the premises before developing a redevelopment plan.

It should be noted that the moving committee of the central office of the Ministry includes 9 members : Jonel Dorvil, Rosenie Milton, André Fritz Mathieu, Maurice Irma Astier, Northon Louisy, Royal Rosemond, Lubin Dieulin, Anoel Modestin and Jacques Francois who coordinates.
