This year again, the Ministry of Tourism is taking part in the 2nd edition of the "Konsome Lokal" fair which takes place at the Historical Sugar Cane Park (Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December).

Several companies and producers have come together to exhibit their products made in Haiti, for the pleasure of many visitors who come to discover, appreciate and buy Haitian products. Note that this fair is organized to encourage the production and consumption of Haitian products, but also to serve as a platform for exchange between companies and producers.

To support the development of creative industries and at the same time promote the Haitian gastronomy, the Ministry of tourism is among the exhibitors. Beyond the local gastronomy, makes tourism in the country is also consuming local. In this sense, the Ministry is undertaking rehabilitation work on various tourist sites in its three main centers (North, South and Southeast) in order to encourage and encourage local tourism.

The Ministry of Tourism strongly encourages the population to participate in numbers this Sunday and last day of the fair, to discover new organic products, but also to encourage the production of the terroir, an important factor of development of the economy and tourism in Haiti.
