Budget against corruption, reduced by 20%

The budget of the Superior Court of Accounts (CSC/CA) reveals that the envelope has been reduced by 20%... while the executive promises to fight against corruption... PetroCaribe : PM orders to cooperate

Temporary return of lawyers at work

The lawyers of the bar of the capital finally decided unanimously to temporarily lift their strike, at an extraordinary general assembly held this Thursday, pending the arrangements to meet all their claims. This decision came about a week after the resignation of the former government commissioner, Clamé Ocnam Daméus claimed, however they continue to demand the arrest of police ofciers involved in the beating of several of their colleagues last October.

PNH : review of the operation "Mache pran yo"

Thursday, as part of an operation called "Mache pran yo" (from December 1, 2018 to January 9, 2019) launched by the West Departmental Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), which aims to ensure the security of the population for the holiday season, Gary Desrosiers, the Deputy Spokesman of the PNH, presented an initial report on the seizure of 10 firearms 11 vehicles, and 110 motorcycles.

Washington Embassy closed

The Embassy of Haiti in Washington DC, will be closed for Christmas Day Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Please note that, temporarily, the Consular Service / Passport Unit does not work on Saturdays.
